Once Upon A Time…

It was a morning of celebrating imagination, creativity and the wonderful world of fairytales with our Kindergarten Fairytale Day.

This year’s theme for this magical event was 'Just Imagine,' a concept that connects wonderfully with the boundless creativity of our young learners.

Over the past weeks, our Kindergarten students have delved into the enchanting realms of popular fairy tales such as Cinderella, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Little Red Riding Hood in the classroom.

Not only have our students explored these classic tales, but they have also ventured into the rich tapestry of cultural stories.

They've read an Aboriginal Dreaming story titled 'Tiddalik the Frog' and an Indian folktale called 'The Monkey and the Crocodile.'

Through these diverse stories, Kindergarten students have been their understanding of character, setting and story.

Kindergarten Fairytale Parade

The Junior School neighbourhood was transported into a world of creativity and make-believe as our littlest students took part in our annual Kindergarten Fairytale Parade.

From princesses to dragons, gingerbread, pirates, knights and villains, our Kindergarten students enjoyed having fun dressing up in fairytale costume with their peers and teachers.

Enchanted Games

The fun continued in the classrooms as parents and loved ones created magical themed boardgames, sharing in the adventure of the day together.
