A Vision for Living and Learning Well
ÁñÁ«ÉçÇø’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, A School for Good Character and Practical Wisdom, marks the beginning of the next chapter in the Grammar journey.
Our new strategic plan is a wholehearted commitment to human flourishing, anchored in enduring wisdom and shaped with purpose for the unique needs and aspirations of our community.
In designing this plan, our deliberate commitment to holistic education and academic rigor remains central to the ÁñÁ«ÉçÇø Vision and Mission.
As Grammar looks to the next horizon in education, we deepen our focus on the requisite learning traits, habits of mind, and character dimensions that will give our students the confidence and capabilities to live, to learn and to lead in a complex and ever-changing world.
Our plan offers a vision to support excellence across our people, practice and place through eight strategic priority areas, across three pillars: Our People, Our Practice, and Our Place.
Our People: We remain committed to developing young people of integrity, empathy, and courage, supported by expert staff and strong partnerships with families. Character is something we live together every day.
Our Practice: We continue to prioritise exceptional teaching and a rich, inspiring curriculum. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, on the sporting field, or through service, students will experience learning that challenges and excites them. Cocurricular distinction remains central to the Grammar experience.
Our Place: We are investing in an environment that supports outstanding learning through strong governance, modern systems, innovation, and future-focused infrastructure. These improvements ensure our students are equipped to think clearly, act wisely, and collaborate confidently.

Each initiative in this plan reinforces our purpose: to prepare young people who contribute meaningfully to the world through the application of good character and practical wisdom.
Our Strategic Plan maps out what we’re focusing on and where we’re headed as we continue to strive for excellence in everything we do. While our big picture goals remain unchanged, our strategies and objectives have evolved to reflect new opportunities and challenges. We are intent on developing good character and practical wisdom as the key enablers for success.
Good character is the foundation of who we are and how we relate to others. We will develop students’ intellectual, moral and civic character, and empower them to put these into action through performance character, the determination and agency to live out their values.
Practical wisdom is the moral will and skill to choose well. It brings character to life, helping students act ethically and thoughtfully in real situations. Wisdom will be explicitly taught, and practised and reflected on through real world experiences.
Together, good character and practical wisdom will enable our graduates to live with accomplishment, humanity, justice and agency.
