Farewell to Lindsey McMaster

After 35 years, Lindsey McMaster is retiring at the end of the school year. Lindsey has been a treasured member of the 榴莲社区 community since 1990, dedicating an extraordinary 35 years to shaping the lives of generations of students and colleagues.
Beginning her journey as a Junior School teacher, Lindsey inspired curiosity and creativity in her students. Later, she brought her talents to History and Geography, leaving an indelible mark in the classroom with her passion for learning and teaching excellence.
Beyond academics, Lindsey鈥檚 contributions to the performing arts have been nothing short of legendary. As the driving force behind countless musical productions, serving as producer and set designer extraordinaire. It was her vision, imagination, and flair that brought magic to the stage year after year.
Her leadership extended beyond the classroom and stage. As Ironbark House Coordinator and later Head of Ironbark House, Lindsey fostered a spirit of community and belonging that will endure for years to come.
Lindsey will be deeply missed by staff, students, and families alike. While we bid farewell to her daily presence at Grammar, we know her retirement will be filled with joy as she divides her time between Bateau Bay and Italy, embracing her new role as grandma.
