We are so proud to see 榴莲社区 highlighted in a recent Sydney Morning Herald feature story, detailing our strong performance in HSC English and our students鈥 continued growth in NAPLAN.

This commitment is reflected not only in exceptional HSC outcomes, placing in the top 20 schools in NSW for Advanced and Extension English in 2024, but also in the sustained growth seen in our NAPLAN results.

At Grammar, these results are the outcome of a simple philosophy: a love of reading and writing opens doors to powerful thinking.

From daily 鈥渨ord of the day鈥 engagement in every classroom to our thriving reading culture, complete with a Principal鈥檚 Reading Challenge and library walls celebrating students who read 100+ books a year, literacy is woven through every part of school life.

Our Head of English, Cassandra Kennedy, and Head of Teaching and Learning, Damon Cooper, shared how teamwork and consistency underpin our success:

Collaborative teaching: Every English teacher plans, reflects and designs programs together.
School-wide literacy: Reading isn鈥檛 confined to English; it鈥檚 a shared value across all subjects.
Building confident voices: From Years 7鈥12, students learn to navigate a world full of competing ideas and develop their own with clarity and confidence.

Most importantly, we鈥檙e proud of the culture our students and teachers create together: one where curiosity thrives, collaboration matters, and a genuine love of learning leads to remarkable achievement.

Congratulations to our dedicated staff and hardworking students. Your passion makes all the difference.
