榴莲社区 achieve successful HSC results
榴莲社区鈥檚 Class of 2019 is reaping the rewards of 13 years of learning and hard work with HSC results issued today.
Dedication, focus and balance were three key priorities resulting in one third of students achieving an ATAR over 90. 12% gained an ATAR of over 95 and 64% achieved an ATAR over 80.
Headmaster, Mr William Low said he was particularly pleased that so many students had achieved their aspirations and would be successful in their chosen area of university study.
鈥淎 large number of offers for university study have already been forthcoming for a wide range of degrees. The offers to students were from universities within NSW, across Australia and the USA.鈥
鈥淭he continually improving percentage of students with ATARs over 80 and over 90 has been an ongoing emphasis within the school,鈥 said Mr Low.

Individual achievement
- Congratulations to, Natalie Band our Dux of the school for 2019 who was also honoured in the NSW Board of Studies All Rounders Achievers list for achieving Band 6 in 10 or more units of study.

- Music 1 - Ethan Campbell for ENCORE
- Music 2 - Sebastien Hibbard for ENCORE
- Dance - Naomi Fetherston for reserve and Eleanor Incoll for inclusion in Callback
- Drama - Bonnie-Grace Macklin and Tyson Male for OnSTAGE
- Industrial Technology - Charles Crowley and Mackenzie Holden for InTech
In addition, Scarlet Lennon received a High Distinction for her Society and Culture Personal Interest Project awarded by the Society and Culture Association.
Head of Senior College, Ms Denise McDonough applauded students for their outstanding achievements across all subject areas.
